Most celebrities are typically well known for their good looks or musical and acting talent, rather than their intelligence.
However, a number of stars are not only good-looking and talented, but also surprisingly smart.
The list below includes 10 Korean stars who boast high IQs.
1. Han Joon-ho -- IQ 163
Announcer Han Joon-ho studied mathematics and human environment and design at Yonsei University. He is also a member of Mensa with an IQ of 163.

2. Ryu Si-hyun -- IQ 160
Ryu Si-hyun holds the record for being the first entertainer to become a member of Mensa with an estimated IQ of 160. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a degree in economics.

3. Jung Ji-won -- IQ 156
Another Mensa member, announcer Jung Ji-won graduated from Yonsei University with a journalism degree. Her IQ is estimated at 156.

4. Choi Sung-joon -- IQ 156
Actor Choi Sung-joon attended Daewon Foreign Language High School and later entered Seoul National University.

5. Ha Yeon-joo -- IQ 156
Despite her outstanding academic record at high school, actor Ha Yeon-joo gave up on going to college because she found it too difficult to manage her acting career and classes. She has an IQ of 156.

6. Park Jin-young -- IQ 153
Park Jin-young, also known as JYP, is a music mogul, musician and record producer. He was given an IQ test in his junior high school years and was assessed as having an IQ of 153.

7. Tablo -- IQ 150
Singer Tablo holds a master’s degree in English from Stanford University. He is known to have an IQ of 150.

8. Kim Jung-hoon -- IQ 148
Actor Kim Jung-hoon reportedly has an IQ of 146. He is known for attending Seoul National University when he made a debut in 2008. Kim, however, soon dropped out and transferred to the Theater and Film Department at Chung-Ang University.

Singer Hong Kyung-min is said to have an IQ of 148.

10. Shin Dong-yup -- IQ 139
Broadcaster Shin Dong-yup said he had an IQ of 160 in his teenage years. But he was tested at 136 when he was given an IQ test on a television show.
