BEAST topped a Japanese online music chart with its latest Japanese track “Hands Up,” the K-pop boy band’s agency Cube Entertainment said Tuesday.

The rhythmical dance track “Hands Up,” which was released Monday, immediately nabbed first place on iTunes Japan.

The six-member group formed its own independent Japanese label “BEAST Music” in March to accommodate its growing fan base in Japan.

Through the new label, the group is slated to unveil a new song every month for 10 consecutive months.

As part of the project, the group dropped hip-hop track “One” in March. The song also ranked No. 1 on iTunes Japan immediately after the release.

The group is scheduled for fan meetings in May in four major Japanese cities: Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
