Minzy, a member of feisty K-pop quartet 2NE1, is drawing media attention for recent selfies taken with her mother.

The photos, which were shared on the singer's Instagram Sunday, shows Minzy's equally -- if not more -- style-conscious mother posing with the 21-year-old star.

"My friend, my love," Minzy said of her mother, who sports smoky eye makeup and an eye-catching necklace, in contrast to Minzy's more pared-down look.

2NE1, of which Minzy is a member, was honored as one of 50 acts at the 2015 YouTube Music Awards, along with megastars Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and Drake.
