Fans of actor Kim Woo-bin may be in for a shock later in the year as he considers taking on the role of a serial killer.

On Friday local media reported that Kim has decided to star in an action film to be directed by Kim Tae-gyun, and is now working out the details with the producers.

Kim’s agency, however, played down the reports, saying that the movie is just one of several projects that have been pitched to the actor.

The movie, which Kim may or may not take on, follows the story of a detective and a serial killer.

Initial news reports claimed that Kim was to play the serial killer.

While unconfirmed reports regarding Kim’s next project emerge, Kim said in an earlier interview with a local news outlet that he was leaving all possibilities open in choosing his next project.

In a recent interview, Kim said that he was looking for something that suits him, and that his next project could be a television series or a movie.

Kim’s latest movie “Twenty,” in which he plays a young unemployed ladies’ man, is currently topping the Korean box office.
