Another Korean rookie band BOYFRIEND will also appear at the award ceremony.

Since 2013, the annual music awards have been given to a slew of Chinese and hallyu stars in recognition of their popularity in the country.

GOT7 recently ended its Asian showcase tour after wrapping up promotional activities on home turf for its Korean album “Identify,” released last November.

The boys also recently appeared in the Web drama “Dream Night,” produced by JYP Pictures and China’s biggest video site Tudou.

The rom-com drama, which aired simultaneously in Korea, China and Thailand, drew more than 2.4 million views on the day of its release.
