Actor-singer Park Yoo-chun’s action sequence in the new SBS drama “The Girl Who Sees Smells” is drawing attention ahead of the first episode on Wednesday.

In the series, the first episode of which airs Wednesday, Park plays Choi Mu-gak opposite Shin Se-kyung.

Park’s character is a police detective who lost all his senses after the murder of his sister.

Shin plays Oh Cho-rim, whose senses with the exception of the sense of smell have been heightened after she awakes up from a coma.

Since the coma, she has also developed the ability to see scents rather than smelling them.

In the 1-minute teaser released on Wednesday, Park is seen breaking through a window in pursuit of a suspect.

He then engages the suspect in hand-to-hand combat while being assaulted with various objects ranging from small items to a chair.

“The scene was full of dangers, but Park Yoo-chun’s natural motor skills and the rehearsals allowed a good scene to be shot,” an SBS official said.
