CL, K-pop girl group 2NE1’s leader, has been nominated for Time’s prospective list of 100 influential people.

The singer, who is currently preparing for a solo debut in the U.S., was the only South Korean to be considered for the list.

Time, a U.S. weekly magazine, started a poll on Tuesday. “Vote now: Who should be on the 2015 Time 100?” the magazine said, urging readers to support their favorite people from the pool of 158 renowned newsmakers.

CL’s entry read, “One fourth of the wildly popular South Korean girl group 2NE1, Lee Chaelin (a.k.a. CL) is teaming up with manager Scooter Braun (the mastermind behind Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen) for her upcoming American debut.”

The public vote is open via Twitter and Facebook. Posts with the hastag #TIME100 will automatically be counted in the poll.

Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. on April 10.

The results of the poll will be announced on April 13, while the official Time 100 list will be announced three days later.

Among other notable figures who made it to the list were North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, British Hollywood actor Benedict Cumberbatch and Grammy-winning singer Sam Smith.
