Actor Jo In-sung will hold a solo fan meeting in Shanghai on Saturday.

The event, titled “2015 Jo In-sung Shanghai fan meeting: Promise of White Day,” will be Jo’s second fan meeting in China.

Jo will leave for China on Friday to attend the event at the Shanghai Center the following day.

“The fan meeting was arranged in light of the support (of fans who) showed for the first solo fan meeting in China held last year,” an official with Jo’s agency, IOK Company, said.

“The event is all the more meaningful because it will be held on White Day, and a good show will be put on so that everyone remembers (the day of the event) as the best White Day.”

First introduced in Japan in the late 1970s, on White Day, March 14, men in East Asia give presents and confectionary to women.
