Girls' Generation idol singer Yuri and actor Seo Kang-joon will join the reality TV program "Alone in Love," in which Korean celebrities star in virtual-dating scenarios.

Television broadcaster JTBC announced on Wednesday that Seo would be the first male guest on the program, which has aimed to reveal women's inner thoughts.

"Alone in Love," which kicked off in January, is a reboot of the 2012 program "Imagination Love Battle," which similarly broadcast female stars in virtual relationships with an unseen character behind the camera.

Girls' Generation a.k.a. SNSD's Yuri, EXID's Hani, Apink's Eunji, Davichi's Minkyung and comedienne Shin Bong-sun are also part of the lineup.

The men's special edition featuring Seo, dubbed a "handsome young actor" by JTBC, is scheduled to broadcast in late March.

"Alone in Love" airs every Saturday in Korea at 11 p.m.
