Namjoo, a member of K-pop girl group Apink, shared photos from the group’s trip to Japan in an online post Saturday.
“Thanks to everyone’s loving care we were able to rank second on Oricon weekly chart. Thank you!!” Namjoo said.
The group recently toured Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka and Nagoya, and her photos offered sneak-peeks of Apink members getting ready in a makeup room, patting down hair, applying makeup and practicing Japanese greetings. Other photos captured members in transition spots, on buses and planes and at local eateries.
She pointed out Japanese ramen, convenience stores and the Tokyo tower as particularly memorable.
“I hope you enjoyed reading this post. I will come back with more (secret) stories next time. Please stay in good health in 2015. Apink wishes for you to be always happy,” she said.
Apink -- Eunji, Naeun, Chorong, Bomi, Hayoung, Namjoo and Yookyung -- released a Japanese version of their hit song “Mr. Chu” on Feb. 18. The song ranked high on the Oricon weekly chart.
