Korean actors Park Shin-hye and Kang Ha-neul are currently in talks over upcoming film "Happy Facebook."

The Hallyu actors previously starred together in the 2013 hit romantic drama series "The Heirs."

"We are having positive talks with Kang Ha-neul," said the production company JK Film on Monday, stressing that the film was still in the casting stage.

"Pinocchio" actress Park Shin-hye's management S.A.L.T. Entertainment acknowledged that Park had received the proposal.

"It's one project under consideration, but it's not certain whether she will take the role," said the management company Monday, adding that the actress was carefully considering her next role.

Production team JK Film previously brought "Ode to My Father" to domestic screens in December, which became the second most-viewed Korean film in cinema history after "Roaring Currents."

Female director Park Hyun-jin, who previously directed rom-com melodrama "Lovers of Six Years," will be directing "Happy Facebook."

Park concluded the hit television series "Pinocchio" in January, while Kang's comedic flick "Twenty" will hit the big screen in Korea on March 25.
