The 25-year-old, who proved his potential as an actor in the movie “Cold Eyes” (2013), plays the aspiring cartoonist Dongwoo in the new movie.

Dongwoo is a 20-something who works hard and strives to achieve his dream. Lee describes his character as “a youngster who has a lot of worries and things to do.”

“Lee has pathos in his face and was cast as he looked the part. He exuded inexhaustible energy during the filming,” said Lee Byung-hyun, director of the movie, who also produced “Speed Scandal” and “Tazza: The Hidden Card.”

“Twenty” also stars Kim Woo-bin and Kang Ha-neul, who recently made his name through the local hit drama “Misaeng.”
