After concluding hit drama "Pinocchio" with actress Park Shin-hye in January, Lee Jong-suk jetted off to Los Angeles for a fashion shoot with Marie Claire.

The 25-year-old actor looks visibly relaxed and laid-back in the sunny photos which were revealed online Monday by the global fashion magazine.

"After working ceaselessly on projects, I fell into a slump for a while. But my experience in 'Pinocchio' gave me new strength to keep on acting," Lee said in the interview.

"Compared to when I first started, acting has gotten more demanding and difficult. I'm trying to make acting decisions that will challenge and help me grow."

The former model is due to hold an Asian tour of fan meetings on March 21 and 28.
