The makers of anticipated upcoming comedy "Twenty," starring Kim Woo-bin, Lee Jun-ho and Kang Ha-neul, announced Tuesday the film would be released on March 25.

Amid trailers and promotional posters unveiled earlier this month, the studio had not previously announced a specific release date.

The much-awaited film will see Kim in the role of ladies' man Chi-hoo, while boy band 2PM's Lee will enact the happy-go-lucky Dong-woo. Kang will play nerdy "good boy" Gyeong-jae.

The actors who play the 20-something young men are all 25-year-old.

The comedic flick, which promises to be full of embarrassing gaffes and self-deprecating performances, is expected to be director Lee Byeong-hun's commercial breakthrough -- after a string of screenwriting successes including rom-com "Love Forecast" starring Lee Seung-gi and Moon Chae-won.

Character trailers released earlier in February showed Chi-ho (Kim) attempting to break up with his girlfriend by claiming he would seduce rich women, Dong-woo (Lee) merrily informing friends his family had become bankrupt, and Gyeong-jae (Kang) drunkenly abandoning his studious image.
