K-pop boy band 2PM member Taecyeon revealed that he plans to pursue both music and acting this year in an interview with a local news outlet Tuesday.

The 26-year-old said that he would focus on activities with his band in the first half, and acting in the second half of the year.

“2PM is working on a new album and gearing up to hold a concert tour,” Taecyeon said.

“Nothing has been decided, but I hope to take up a role in a good production in the second of the year.”

His band 2PM released a Japanese single, “Guilty Love,” in January.

The album immediately topped major Japanese music charts, including the Oricon Chart and Tower Records chart, proving the sextet’s steadfast popularity there.
