K-pop boy band 2PM topped Japan’s Oricon chart with its latest Japanese EP within a day of its release.

2PM’s ninth Japanese EP “Guilty Love” skyrocketed to the No.1 spot on the Oricon Daily Albums chart shortly after it was unveiled on Wednesday.

The lead single “Guilty Love” is a dance song with a funky bass line that enables 2PM to showcase sleek choreography, the group’s agency said.

The sextet took the top slot on the chart with its eighth EP “Go Crazy,” released in Japan last September.

The boys plan to hold a Japanese concert tour in six major cities in April.
