Kim Soo-hyun, an actor in SBS drama “My Love from the Star,” has made 30 billion won ($27 million) in advertising revenue last year, according to a local media outlet on Thursday.

The media said the-26-year-old has appeared in 35 commercials last year mostly with one-year contracts. As most of the deals have been renewed, Kim’s earnings is expected to stand at 50 billion won this year.

Some insiders said the figure would be higher than the official figure considering the commercials he featured in China.

“He gets many offers for dramas, movies and commercials (from China),” said an official of his entertainment company.

Speaking on his next film or drama, he said, “We give priority to local projects now. It seems to take some time as he wants to play an attractive character.”
