K-pop trio TVXQ singer Changmin wowed the crowds with his pink coat at the film premiere for "The Cat Funeral" on Wednesday.

While the idol does not star in the film, his red carpet appearance drew praise from the online community for his romantic color choice. He paired his pink jacket with casual skinny jeans and sneakers in turquoise and pink.

"The Cat Funeral," directed by Lee Jong-hun, is based on a popular romantic webcomic of the same name about a young couple dealing with the awkward trials of love. They are reunited by the funeral of the cat they raised together after a year apart. The male lead character is played by Super Junior's Kangin, also managed by TVXQ's label SM Entertainment.

The film is scheduled for release on Jan. 15.
