KBS2 released still-cuts of Jaejoong and Ko Sung-hee, the co-stars of drama “Spy,” on Monday.

In the revealed pictures, Ko and Jaejoong were spotted in a romantic mood, standing close to each other and exuding romantic looks. The photos were taken on Dec. 19 in Seoul.

According to the drama production team, the staff members, producer and actors put their utmost effort to better portray the two co-stars’ romantic relationship despite the cold weather.

“Ko and Jaejoong are teaming up for the first time in a drama, but their passion for acting is leading to the best chemistry,” a spokesman for the television series was quoted as saying. “The unexpected snowfall also helped the romantic mood in the kiss scene.”

In the thriller, Jaejoong will play the role of Sun-woo, a South Korean intelligence agent and a prominent data analyst. His character is set to develop a romantic relationship with Yoon-jin, played by Ko.

Based on an Israeli drama “Mice,” the Korean rendition portrays Sun-woo and his mother, a former North Korean spy played by actress Bae Jong-ok.

The drama is to air two episodes in a row from 9:20-11 p.m. every Friday starting Jan. 9.
