Actor Lee Jong-suk’s character Ki Ha-myung pulled himself from sorrow and embarked on his mission to avenge his parents, who were victimized by immature news coverage in the SBS drama “Pinocchio.”

In the 12th episode, which aired Thursday, Lee’s character Ki Ha-myung makes an exclusive report about his brother Ki Jae-myung murdering three people.

This happens while Jae-myung is being interviewed by Song Cha-ok from the rival news broadcaster for his good deed of saving a middle-schooler from a car accident.

“You are making the same mistake that you made 13 years ago. You made me a hero, but I am a murderer,” Jae-myung reveals, shocking Cha-ok and viewers.

Jae-myung is arrested by the police and briefly meets his brother Ha-myung. Shedding tears, Jae-myung says, “You’re now the only one to fight against Song Cha-ok. Show her what a true reporter is. I count on you.”

Ha-myung then decides to leave In-ha (Park Shin-hye)’s family and his fake name Choi Dal-po, getting ready to focus on his revenge against Cha-ok.

In the upcoming episode, Ha-myung is to toughen his attack against Song Cha-ok, unveiling her unprofessional reports made in the past.
