Apink to hold 1st concert

K-pop girl band Apink will hold the first concert in Seoul early next year.

The concert, titled “Pink Paradise,” will be held at Olympic Park, southeastern Seoul, on Jan. 30-31, according to their label A CUBE Entertainment.

“To return love and support Apink received from fans, the group members are gearing up for the first concert in four years since they debuted,” said a representative from the agency.

Apink earlier promised their fans to hold a concert if they win all three major music shows in Korea.

The sextet grabbed the No.1 spot with their title track “Luv” on the music programs of the nation‘s public TV networks -- KBS ’ “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Show Music Core,” and SBS’ “Inkigayo.”

The girls dropped the fifth EP “Pink Luv” on Nov. 25.

Since their debut in 2011, Apink -- Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Son Na-eun, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young -- gained popularity with cheerful tunes such as “MyMy,” “NoNoNo” and “Mr. Chu.”

The tickets for the concert will be sold through online booking sites from Dec. 23.
