K-pop girl group 2NE1 will come back to the K-pop scene when it attends SBS’ “Gayo Daejeon” on Dec. 21, according to news reports on Wednesday.

However, only three of the four-member girl group -- CL, Sandara Park and Minzy -- will appear on the TV program. Park Bom will miss the show as she is taking more time off from the limelight, the report said.

Park has avoided public appearance since allegations erupted in July that investigative authorities did not dig up suspicions about her illegal smuggling of drugs in 2010.

“However, it’s not certain whether the group will perform on stage or just attend the show,” a showbiz official said.

Although the group stopped its activities at home, it has met its overseas concert schedules.

The group’s “All or Nothing” world tour has drawn big crowds of fans across Asia including in Singapore.

2NE1’s full-member comeback still seems uncertain since the group’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed CL’s activities only in the U.S. next year.
