Cameo appearances made by popular stars may help boost the success chances of upcoming movies to be released in December.

In the movie “Five Eagle Brothers” released early this month, 2PM member Nichkhun made a short appearance in an effort to support his band mate Chansung, who plays one of the leading roles. Around the end of the movie, Nichkhun appears as a senior police officer of Chansung and scolds him.

TVXQ member and actor Yunho also made a cameo appearance in the upcoming movie “Ode to My Father,” which will be released on Dec. 17. The singer-actor was widely praised by the director for his acting passion, and skillfully portrayed the traits of Nam Jin, a hit singer from 1970s.

FT Island member and actor Lee Hong-ki made a short appearance in the movie “A Perfect Way to Steal a Dog,” which is scheduled to be released at the end of this year. Lee played the role of a pizza delivery man who comically gets involved with pranks of three children.

With the interesting appearances of many star actors, the big screen industry is aiming for success in the last month of 2014.
