Park Shin-hye, Lee Jong-suk share heart-throbbing kiss on ‘Pinocchio’

Actor Lee Jong-suk and actress Park Shin-hye shared their first kiss in an episode of the SBS drama “Pinocchio” that aired Thursday.

In the eighth episode, Choi Dal-po (Lee Jong-suk) reveals his feelings for Choi In-ha (Park Shin hye). The kiss happens while In-ha and Dal-po are talking on the street at night in snowy weather. The two have an intimate talk, with In-ha sharing the frustration she feels toward her mother and Dal-po trying to cheer her up.

Previously, in the fifth episode, when In-ha shares her feelings for Dal-po with him she worries that their relationship will get awkward. “Do you think we can stay the same as before, where we can be natural with each other?” In-ha asks.

“We can’t. I’m sorry, but I can’t. Can you do so?” says Dal-po, implying that he has feelings for her as well.

In-ha replies by saying that she can, but starts hiccupping, which means that she is lying. Embarrassed, In-ha tries move away from Dal-po but is soon caught.

Dal-po leans toward In-ha to kiss her, but she covers her lips and looks surprised. He then kisses her on the hand. In the following scene, In-ha puts her hand down and the two kiss romantically.

The heart-throbbing kiss scene has raised expectations among drama fans about further developments in their romantic relationship. The rom-com hit a 10.2 percent viewing rate Thursday.
