Rookie K-pop boy band GOT7 got off to a poor start on major music charts with its new track released on Tuesday.

“Stop, Stop it,” the lead single off the septet’s first studio album, “Identify,” failed to make it into the top 10 of local real-time charts. GOT7 revealed the 11-track album online at midnight on Tuesday.

As of 10:30 a.m. in Korea, “Stop, Stop it” ranked 18th on Olleh Music, 23rd on Naver Music, 26th on Bugs Music and 31th on Melon Music.

Toy, a one-man band comprised of veteran singer Yoo Hee-yeol, dominated the charts with its seventh full-length album, “Da Capo.”

The album’s 13 tracks dominated the first 13 spots on local charts, with “Three People,” featuring balladeer Sung Si-kyung, topping most of the local charts on Tuesday morning.

GOT7’s long-anticipated track “Stop, Stop it,” written and composed by producer JYP, is a hip-hop song with heavy bass and an addictive beat.

The boys, who held a showcase in Seoul on Monday, will appear on Mnet’s music program “M! Countdown” on Thursday.
