Kim Woo-bin becomes ‘master key’ in new film

Actor Kim Woo-bin plays a skillful safecracker in the upcoming film “Criminal Designer.”

Still cuts of the movie revealed Wednesday showed Kim’s character showing off his talents.

In the movie, Kim plays the role of Ji-hyuk, the leader of a group of tech-savvy outlaws aiming to steal 150 billion won ($140 million) from the Incheon Custom Agency within 40 minutes.

Kim’s character is called the “master key” among the safe-cracking criminals, due to his intelligence and planning ability.

“I have never considered another actor for the part of Ji-hyuk,” the producer of the film, Kim Hong-sun, was quoted as saying.

“I enjoyed reading the script and confirmed that I would star in the movie after meeting with the director and receiving information about the movie. ‘Criminal Designer’ will keep viewers on the edge of their seats till the end of the movie,” the actor was quoted as saying.

“Criminal Designer” is scheduled to be released in theaters in December.
