Kim Woo-bin becomes invincible star in Asia

Rising hallyu star Kim Woo-bin has captivated the hearts of Asian fans with his success as an advertising model and as an actor.

Kim is currently modeling for more than seven brands in Asia, his agency said, including KFC China, Calvin Klein and TAO-TI in Hong Kong, and Samsung Electronics in Vietnam.

As the actor used to be a runway model prior to his acting career, he has managed to show off different charms in each advertisement and proved to be a top model-actor.

Kim has also been active as an actor. Kim’s new Web drama “Love Cell” will kick off on Sunday via the portal site Naver.

Photos of the drama, which show Kim wearing a black suit and holding a gun, have raised anticipation among his fans about his role as Love Cell God in the drama.

The actor also finished filming the movie “Criminal Designer,” which will hit theaters in December. Kim plays the role of Ji-hyuk, a skilled safecracker and the leader of a group of fellow “technicians.”

The 25-year-old is also participating in the filming of the movie “Twenty.”

“Kim’s popularity in Chinese regions is beyond expectations. Even though the actor did not have a lot of opportunities to meet his fans abroad, he is constantly getting offers for new commercials,” an official at the star’s agency was quoted as saying.

“The actor is happy show different charms as an actor and brand model. Please keep supporting Kim,” the official added.
