Member of idol group TVXQ and actor Jung Yunho has gained recognition for his improved acting skills in MBC drama “The Night Watchman.”

According to local reports, Yunho shined in tense action scenes in the 16th episode, adding to the fun of the drama. Viewers praised the actor for his dedication toward his character -- Joseon’s finest swordsman Moosuk.

Jung also expressed delicate emotions through his acting skills. Throughout the drama, Jung showed pure love toward Do-ha, played by actress Ko Sung-hee. In the 16th episode, Jung told Ko, “I do not want to see you being heartbroken by anyone,” conveying his romantic feelings toward her.

Yunho has been receiving compliments from viewers for showing much more advanced acting skills overall. Doubts concerning his acting have greatly diminished as well.

Jung’s drama “The Night Watchman” airs every Monday and Tuesday on MBC.
