Korean rapper Psy topped six categories of the U.S. Billboard magazine’s year-end charts for 2013, his local management company said Wednesday.

Psy, who rose to global stardom for “Gangnam Style” featuring his horse-riding dance in 2012, was chosen as the top “Dance/Electronic Streaming Song Artist,” “Rap Streaming Song Artist” and “World Digital Song Artist” of 2013 in the year-end charts to be included in the December issue of the monthly music magazine, according to YG Entertainment.

His “Gangnam Style” topped three charts for songs ― “Dance/Electronic Streaming Song,” “Rap Streaming Song” and “World Digital Song,” the company said.

The video of “Gangnam Style” has garnered 1.84 billion views on YouTube through Wednesday.

His latest hit “Gentleman” will soon top 600 million views, having attracted 598 million views as of now.

Psy, meanwhile, is scheduled to hold concerts in Seoul on Dec. 20-22 and Dec. 24. Sources say he may release a new song during the concert. (Yonhap News)
