Singer Jay Park has announced that he has established his own independent music label: AOMG, standing for “ABOVE ORD!NARY MUSIC GROUP.”

The former 2PM member will still be under the management of the agency SidusHQ while managing his own label.

Park launched the label to give more opportunities and support to younger hip-hop, R&B and pop artists in the market along with producing his own albums. The label will focus mainly on helping to train talented new and upcoming musicians and to jump-start their careers in the industry.

Cha Cha Malone, an American singer and producer that b-boyed with Park in the Seattle-based crew Art of Movement and collaborated with him on tracks such as the recently released EP “I LIKE 2 PARTY,” will participate in the label.

In addition to Cha Cha Malone, the label also includes composers Jeon Goon, who has worked with artists Wheesung and Taeyang, and Gray, who has worked with hip-hop artists Zion.T and Swings.

Along with launching the AOMG label, Park revealed that he was preparing to begin a nationwide tour some time in the coming months.
