Let’s recap the night through selfies.
V
"There are no words that can describe how thankful I am right now to Army. Thank you so, so much, and I purple you."
Jimin
"This is the first time we’ve ever received so many awards in one day. I was in awe throughout the day. Thank you Army from the bottom of my heart, and congratulations to you too for winning our first-ever popularity award since debut.
My sincerest congratulations to our Army. You deserve this award more than anyone. Thank you."
J-Hope
"Thank you. (Heart)"
RM
"Our precious first-ever not one, but two popularity awards! Thank you."
Jin
"Guys, we’ve won so many awards today. Thank you. Sleep tight everyone. I love you, Army."
Suga
"Thank you, Army!"
The seven winners of the night and Charlie Puth culminated monthslong speculations of their collaboration with a glorious joint performance of each other’s hit songs: Puth’s “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and BTS’ “Fake Love.”
Of course, a selfie op could not be missed -- a group selfie was shared on their respective social media accounts after the show Tuesday night.
“We met @charlieputh,” BTS tweeted with the photo, while Charlie Puth’s upload was Instagram-filtered in artsy black-and-white.
On Wednesday morning, Puth posted a pre-show photo with Jungkook onstage from the night before, captioned with a green heart, which received close to 10,000 Twitter “likes” within the first 10 minutes.
Where words fall short, selfies fill in.
