Actress Kim Tae-hee sent a New Year‘s greeting from the beach in Sokcho, Gangwon Province, on Korea’s east coast.

Posting two photos to her Instagram account Saturday, the 35-year-old said “I am here at the sea of Sokcho. It was so warm and beautiful. Happy New Year.”

“I hope you forget all the hardships of last year and have a fresh start,” she added.

She looks at the camera in one photo, donning a gray mask and a black hat against the backdrop of the blue sea.

The 35-year-old is likely to return to the big screen in the near future, although nothing has officially been confirmed.
