K-pop group I.O.I’s member Jung Chae-yeon will be starring in tvN’s new drama “Drinking Solo.”

Jung made headlines earlier this year when she left the girl group DIA and went on Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101,” during which she was chosen to become a member of the K-pop group I.O.I.

Following her second debut as a member of I.O.I, she revealed that she will also be rejoining DIA, which stirred up questions over which group she belonged to.

She will soon make her debut on the small screen. In “Drinking Solo,” she will play one of the students in a private institute in Noryangjin.

The drama will begin airing in August on Mondays and Tuesdays on tvN.
