Comedian Park Myeong-su, Lizzy to release duet
Funny man Park Myeong-su of the popular reality show “Infinite Challenge” will be returning to the mic this month with his latest music collaboration project, alongside K-pop starlet Lizzy of After School and Orange Caramel.
According to a representative from Universal Music, the duo will unveil its digital single later this month, marking Park’s first musical endeavor of the New Year. Park and Lizzy appeared together on a special World Cup edition of MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” program last year.

Thanks to Park’s tremendous popularity and poignant, humorous lyrics, his singles are almost guaranteed chart-toppers, with his previous digital releases reigning at the No. 1 spot on all major online music sites in Korea.
In 2009 the comedian teamed up with former Girls’ Generation idol Jessica for the single “Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles),” which became an instant hit. Since then, the comedian has teamed up with numerous stars including G-Dragon, Nicole, Kim Ye-rim and Gil.
However, despite being a comedic force to be reckoned with on the music charts, not all of Park’s collaborations have met with applause.

Since the controversy the comedian has released a handful of singles including his most recent, “Don’t Go,” featuring Kim Shin-young, and “Myeong-Su’s Tteokbokki,” which was yet another chart-topper, featuring Kim Ye-rim and UL.
Park and Lizzy’s collaboration song is expected to drop around mid-February along with its official music video.
