Dream T Entertainment on Friday confirmed Sojin of Girl’s Day has decided to leave the agency when her contract is due on February, but denied group’s disbandment.

In responding to media reports on all four members parting ways with the agency this year, Dream T said only group’s leader Sojin has decided to not renew the contract, while other members Yura, Minah and Hyeri are dicussing with the company in “many ways” for the future. Hyeri’s contract is set to expire in August, while Yura and Minah’s end in September.

“We have no intention to disband Girl’s Day’s group activities,” the label said. “We are seeking ways for the group to do activities together in the future.”

The four-piece act debuted in 2010 with EP “Girl’s Day Party #1,” and rolled out hit songs like "Twinkle Twinkle," "Hug Me Once," “Something” and “Darling.” In 2017, they renewed their contract as a full group with the agency.

All four members have individual acting and variety show careers, in addition to group activities, with Hyeri scoring success as a lead in the drama “Reply 1988” in 2015 and Minah gaining popularity with drama “Beautiful Gongshim” in 2016. Sojin and Yura have also appeared in variety shows and films.
