Black Pink’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ most viewed K-pop music video on 2018 on YouTube

Black Pink’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” was the most viewed K-pop music video of 2018 on YouTube.

On YouTube’s list of the top 10 most viewed K-pop music videos of 2018, released Wednesday, Black Pink’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” topped the chart with over 552 million views since its release June 15.

According to YouTube, 94 percent of the views were from outside South Korea.

The girl group was followed closely by BTS, whose songs “Fake Love,” “Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” and “Idol” respectively ranked Nos. 2, 3 and 4.

New names were seen on the list as Momoland, iKon and Red Velvet all made it for the first time with “BBoom BBoom,” “Love Scenario” and “Bad Boy.” Respectively, the songs ranked Nos. 5, 8 and 9.

Twice also had a prominent presence on the list with three of its songs: “Heart Shaker” at No. 6, “What is Love?” at No. 7 and “Dance the Night Away” at No. 10.
