Kwanghee of Ze:A will host MBC Every 1’s TV show “Weekly Idol,” following the singer’s recent completion of his mandatory military service.

MBC Plus announced Tuesday that Kwanghee will be one of the new hosts on the show, along with comedian Jo Se-ho and Nam Chang-hie.

The current hosts of the program -- singer Lee Sang-min, comedian Yoo Se-yoon and Kim Shin-young -- are slated to record their last broadcast in January 2019.

The broadcasting channel added that it chose Kwanghee because he would be able to “naturally bring out the charm of guest K-pop groups, as he is also a member of an idol group.”

“Weekly Idol” will be hosted by the new trio starting from Jan. 9, 2019 on MBC Every 1 and MBC Music.
