Red Velvet, BTOB, Super Junior to headline 2018 KPMA

The final lineup for the 2018 Korea Popular Music Awards has been announced, with K-pop acts Red Velvet, BTOB, Super Junior and Mamamoo leading a star-studded roster.

According to the list released by the KPMA on Monday, NCT 127, The Boyz, Roy Kim, Momoland, Simon Dominic, Oh My Girl, Wanna One, Pentagon, Chungha and (G)I-DLE, will also headline the event.

Voting for the show’s categories ended on Sunday midnight, while voting for the Popularity Award will continue until noon on Thursday.

In its first year, the KPMA is jointly organized by the Korea Singers Association, the Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association, the Recording Industry Association of Korea, the Federation of Korean Music Performers, and the Korea Music Copyright Association.

The upcoming event will take place Thursday evening at Ilsan Kintex, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, with Lee Teuk of Super Junior and actress Jin Se-yeon as hosts.

The red carpet event and the main ceremony start at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively, which will air live on Olleh TV and Olleh TV Mobile.
