GWSN, also known as Gongwon Sonyeo or Girls in the Park, announced the official name of its fan club via V Live on Thursday.

The name, chosen by fans via voting, is Groo, the counting unit for trees in Korean.

“Our fan club name, Groo, refers to the people who always support us and are with us, like a tree under which people can relax,’” the seven-piece act explained.

“Trees and park are inseparable,” said the singers. “We wish to be together with Groo forever.”
