Seungri of the K-pop boy band BigBang has dropped a complaint he filed with the prosecution in which he accused a colleague of swindling him out of thousands of dollars, his management agency said Friday.

Last month, Seungri told prosecutors that a female singer asked him to invest in her real estate business in 2014. He put down more than 2 billion won (US$1.7 million) for the business which never took off, he said.

The 25-year-old reconciled with the singer, identified only by her surname Shin, on Thursday, YG Entertainment said.

"We had planned to deal with the situation together, but we heard he'd dropped the complaint," the agency said, adding it does not know further details. "We only know that the complaint has been withdrawn. We don't know any more details since it's his personal affair."

Shin debuted in 2003 and has two albums under her name. At the time of her request to Seungri, she was running a talent management agency, which has since shut down.

Meanwhile, BigBang is scheduled to kick off its Japan Dome Tour with concerts at Osaka's Kyocera Dome from Saturday to Monday. The tour will move on to Fukuoka and Tokyo next month.(Yonhap)
