K-pop boy group EXO’s member D.O. is set to join the Star Road event at the Busan International Film Festival slated for Monday night.

At the event, high-profile celebrities and directors walk on a 150-meter long red carpet and greet their fans on Star Road.

The singer-actor D.O. began his acting career this year in SBS’ soap “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” playing a high school student whose mother is frequently beaten by his alcoholic father.

He is set to star in the upcoming local films “Pure Love” and “Older Brother,” which will premier in 2016.

“D.O. was invited for the BIFF Star Road event. That will be his only enagement and he will not attend any other event,” said S.M. Entertainment.
