iKON, BTS, Junsu to rule Oct. music scene
An array of K-pop boy acts are planning to release new albums in October, all vying to win the hearts of K-pop fans. They include the rookie group iKON, sensationally popular BTS, rising BTOB and Junsu of JYJ.
iKON
iKON, which made a chart-topping debut with single “My Type” in September, will release a six-track EP “Welcome Back” on Oct. 1. The EP contains half of the songs from the full 12-track album, which will be released on Nov. 2.

The medium tempo hip-hop track “My Type” ranked No.1 on major local charts in Sept., proving the rookie group’s onward to success.
BTOB
BTOB (OSEN) |
In mid-October, the rising band will release a new album and return to the music scene. The exact date is yet to be determined. The upcoming album will be filled with relaxing, sentimental ballad tracks.
BTS
BTS, regarded as one of the hottest K-pop acts today, will release a new album “The Most Beautiful Moment, Part 2” in October.

The seven-member is also planning to hold a concert titled “The Most Beautiful Moment on Stage” at Seoul’s SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium on Nov. 27-29.
Junsu
Junsu of JYJ is set to release a solo album in October, a great news for JYJ fans as two other members, Jaejoong and Yoochun, left the music scene for the two-year-long mandatory military service.

Junsu’s album will include ballad and dance numbers that reflect fall and winter season, highlighting Junsu’s unique voice, his label C-JeS Entertainment said.
The singer will also hold Asia Tour Concert in Japan, China and Korea. He will kick off the series in Yokohama Stadium in Japan on Oct. 24-25.
