Leading K-pop group Big Bang, on Sunday just 44 days later joining “V” app, topped 1 million fans on the live-streaming mobile platform.

Other boy groups more active on V app, such as CNBLUE, INFINITE and VIXX, had approximately 300,000-400,000 fans,

Big Bang joined the interactive application in August, but only began broadcasting live segments recently. The group is currently running a weekly show hosted in rotation by each member.

Leader G-Dragon kicked off the relay two weeks ago with his “Let’s Not Do Anything” show, in which he had one-on-one phone conversations with his fans.

Member Taeyang followed with his “I’m Going Now to Eat” show, where he took the intimacy to another level by personally visiting a fan’s house to sit at the dinner table.

G-Dragon and Taeyang, respectively, received over 26 million and 17.9 million hearts on their videos.

Next up is T.O.P, who will run the “T.O.P will Answer You” show Wednesday night at 11 p.m.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
