K-pop singer Jay Park will sing a song for tvN drama “Oh My Ghostess,” production company CJ E&M said Wednesday.

Park’s song “Eyes” will be unveiled on Friday.

The song, written and composed by Park Woo-san, is a mix of classic and jazz, using sampling from Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Symphony No. 2, in E Minor, Op.27 -- third movement.” The soft melody with sentimental lyrics reflects the story’s plot where the protagonist Na Bong-sun -- played by actress Park Bo-young -- has to bid farewell to Kang Sun-woo, played by actor Jo Jung-suk.

Throwing aside his image as the hip-hop artist, Park will exude his charm as a sentimental, soft vocalist, said CJ E&M. “Listening to Park’s recording session was like hearing Michael Jackson’s falsetto,” said a company official, complimenting Park’s vocal skills.
