K-pop group Super Junior will formally announce the schedule for promoting its new album “early next week,” its label SM Entertainment said Friday.

The announcement came following a report by a local media outlet Friday that Super Junior was planning to release its next album in the third week of July.

Super Junior is comprised of nine active members. Two inactive members -- Shingdong and Sungmin -- are serving their mandatory military service, while Kibum is focusing on his acting career.

Super Junior is scheduled to hold its “Super Show6 Encore” concert -- part of its “Super Junior World Tour” series -- on July 11-12 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul.

The popular group’s latest album is “Mamacita,” released in August 2014.
