K-pop group SHINee members held a press conference on Sunday afternoon prior to their final show of the three-day comeback concert.

“It was overwhelming to see our fans after a long lapse. We were thankful for their unabated support,” Key said, explaining the tears he showed during performances held on Friday and Saturday.

“This is not the first time we cried on stage. We occasionally cried after our annual performances. Jonghyun and Onew hyungs (older-brothers) saw me talking to the fans and shed tears, too.”

Minho added, “We counted days to this concert, we missed our fans.”

This is the group’s first domestic concert in 14 months. 30,000 fans signed up to see the stars on stage over three-day-long event.

Originally planned as a two-day weekend concert, SHINee had to add an extra day to meet the avid demands from fans who failed to purchase tickets.

The most recent live performance by the quintet was in Brazil in April in a rare occasion to accompany the South Korean president on her diplomatic tour to South America.

SHINee’s 4th EP “Odd” will hit online and offline stores, Monday.
