K-pop group Big Bang plans to take part in “Music Bank,” a weekly music chart program of KBS, heralding a thaw in the frozen relations between YG Entertainment and the state-run broadcaster.

The discord traces back to 2011 when YG demanded KBS spare enough time for Big Bang to perform two songs for their live comeback stage. KBS rejected YG’s offer, resulting in the boycott of the program by all the YG entertainers in a show of displeasure.

Big Bang announced it would join the weekly program on Friday and perform the chart-topping latest single “M.” The group is also planning to appear on “Happy Together 3,” another KBS program, which is to be aired on May 21.
