K-pop group SHINee’s Jonghyun supported soloist Lim Kim’s new album “Simple Mind” via social media and Naver TV cast on Monday.

Jonghyun, who wrote and composed the album’s fifth track “No More,” praised Lim’s voice, calling it “superb.”

In an interview with Naver cast, Jonghyun said, “Lim has a touch of cool indifference to her voice, and I thought it would be interesting for her to sing of an old romance that has turned into ennui.”

“I listened to old tapes of her performances and wrote the song, ‘No More.’ If you listen to the tape, you can tell I tried to mimic her singing style,” he said.

Lim said, “I could feel that he wrote the song thinking of me. I was moved.” She added that she wanted to give simple melody that can last in memory.

Lim, 21, released “Simple Mind” on Monday, her third mini album in a year and a half.

Hip-hop rapper Beenzino participated in the album production.
