Actor Lee Min-ho joined the growing ranks of Korean celebrities who are honoring the victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy, a year after it sank off the southwest coast of Korea.

The Sewol ferry, which remains at the bottom of the Yellow Sea, sank on April 16, 2014, killing 304, many of whom were students on a high school trip.

Lee shared a photo on Facebook with the yellow ribbon that has come to symbolize mourning for the incident.

A simple inscription underneath the ribbon reads, "Remember 2014.04.16."

Celebrities such as actors Kim Woo-bin and Park Shin-hye are among others who have commemorated the tragedy online Thursday.
