Taeyang, a member of the K-pop group Big Bang slated to comeback next month, has recently suffered a minor ankle sprain, which the agency said would not affect the group’s schedule.

Big Bang’s label YG Entertainment said Monday that “Taeyang has slightly sprained his ankle while practicing a new song in the U.S.,” but, “It was only a minor sprain,” and there will be no change to what the group has planned for fans.

Prior to the agency’s comment, fans worried whether the star’s injury would delay the group’s comeback.

Since the release of their last EP, “Still Alive,” in June 2012, Big Bang members have worked on individual projects, but not as a quintet.

For nearly three years, Big Bang fans have patiently waited for the group’s return.

Big Bang’s world tour will kick off with shows in Seoul on April 25 and 26. It will then spread to a total of 70 cities across 15 countries.

The group has teased that it will unveil a new song on the first day of every month starting from May to September.
